Waypoints will be attending the 2nd Annual Blue Jean Jacket Day event on Friday, June 6th. Hosted by Nistawoyou Association Friendship Centre in partnership with Athabasca Tribal Council and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the event invites community members to come together in remembrance and recognition.
Launched in Edmonton in 2023, Blue Jean Jacket Day raises awareness of Missing, Murdered, and Exploited Indigenous Men and Boys and recognizes the families and communities impacted by their loss.
Visitors are welcome to stop by our booth to learn more about our programs, services, and resources, and to connect with members of our team.
