National Accessibility Week runs from May 31st to June 6th this year, and we are proud to join the conversation on accessibility and inclusion.
This national observance is a time to recognize:
• The leadership and valuable contributions of persons with disabilities across Canada
• The efforts of allies, advocates, and organizations working to reduce barriers
• The ongoing work to build a more accessible and disability inclusive country
As part of our commitment to accessibility, Waypoints continues working to strengthen inclusive, trauma informed spaces and approaches that help reduce barriers and improve access to services, resources, and support across our community.
When people with disabilities have equitable opportunities to contribute, communities grow stronger. Let us continue working toward a society where inclusion is the standard, not the exception.
