Black History Month

  • Waypoints Community Services Association 100-130 Prospect Dr Fort McMurray Canada (map)

Black History Month is a time to reflect on and celebrate the rich history, achievements, and contributions of Black individuals in our communities and around the world. It is a reminder of the resilience, strength, and creativity that have shaped cultures, societies, and movements throughout history. Their leadership, creativity, innovation, and resilience have shaped our history, continue to influence our communities today, and inspire future generations.

At Waypoints, we acknowledge the ongoing work to address systemic racism, inequality, and injustice. We commit to fostering an inclusive environment where all individuals can find support, empowerment, and respect.

This month, we honour the legacies of those who paved the way for progress and continue to advocate for a more just and equitable future for all.
